Course Duration

The program adopts a hybrid training model, blending various components over a total of 38 days:

Classroom Training: 70 hours (10 days) of structured, interactive learning sessions.

Practical Training: Hands-on caregiving sessions.

On-the-Job Training (OJT): Paid 312 hours (28 days) internship at Guardian Angel Homecare, providing real-world caregiving experience.

Maternal & Child Nursing Program

Guardian Angel Institute of Caregiving proudly offers a comprehensive 70 hours or 10-day job-oriented Maternal & Child Nursing program tailored for individuals aspiring to build careers in caregiving for new mothers and their newborns. This short-term, practical-oriented program is designed for individuals who want to pursue a career in caring for new mothers and newborns. The program featuring a hybrid model that includes classroom training, practical sessions, and hands-on internship opportunities. This program ensures that students are job-ready and equipped with the skills needed to excel in their role as a caregiver.

Course Objective

The program's key aim is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to both mothers and newborns. It emphasizes essential skills like:

  • Postnatal care
  • Breastfeeding and infant feeding
  • Infant hygiene and care
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity

Course Content & Description:

The program covers a comprehensive range of topics essential for providing excellent maternal and child care, including:

  • Prenatal Care: Understanding and supporting mothers during pregnancy.
  • Postnatal Care: Focused care for mothers post-delivery.
  • Breastfeeding and Infant Feeding: Techniques and nutritional education for newborns.
  • Infant Hygiene and Care: Maintaining cleanliness and promoting overall well-being.
  • Infant Sleep and Routine: Developing healthy routines and sleep patterns.
  • Infant Health and Safety: Ensuring the safety and well-being of the child.
  • Baby Massage and Relaxation Techniques: Promoting relaxation and strengthening the bond between parent and child.

The program's hands-on approach ensures that students are job-ready and equipped with the skills needed to excel in their role as a caregiver. This course is conducted by gynaecologists, ayurveda doctors, physiotherapists & experienced Nurses
